Our approach…
Step 1:
Initial Consultation + Proposal Meeting
First, apply for a complimentary Connection Call. This is a no-pressure chat to see if we’re a good fit for one another, and to determine which of our services best fits your project.
Next, we begin with a short Initial Questionnaire - orienting ourselves with your unique needs and goals for your space.
We’ll begin collaborating right away to clarify your vision during your Initial Consultation.
We review each space (and/or floor plans) in terms of your needs, preferences and goals.
We’ll take initial photos and videos to create concept sketches and obtain ballpark estimates from trade partners.
We explore your personal lifestyle and vision further
We answer any questions you have about our process, our firm and our service agreement
Finally, we will conduct a Proposal Meeting to review your project and IDSA (Interior Design Services Agreement) which includes:
approach and overall concept
room-by-room scope of work
project deliverables
estimated project timeline
flat rate design fee for the entire project

Step 2:
Conceptual Design
Once we’ve agreed upon your project scope, we’ll dive right in getting to know you and your home!
We collaborate through visual exercises and follow up questions as needed to capture what inspires and supports you.
Next, we begin developing your vision with conceptual ideas for each space - including initial selections to convey the overall design direction.
We will provide initial floor plans and revise your furnishings investment estimate (finalized during detailed design phase).
We will also begin collaborating with vendors, creators and build professionals to confirm the overall feasibility, investment and timeline of your design project.
Step 3:
Detailed Design
Now, every element of your vision comes to life - during your Detailed Design Presentation, we’ll share your fully customized design:
Mood Boards and hand-drawn renderings of each new space (BIM renderings available upon request).
final floor plans and elevations (wall facing views) including your final product and material selections.
Additional sketches, detail drawings, perspectives and inspiration images as needed to convey your design concept.
We translate your design into room-by-room proposals with additional product images and info.
We walk you through every element of your design, allowing you to see and touch all available finish and material selections.
We source and create unique products, materials and solutions that are completely customized to you and your home and tell your story.
Our curated library of vendors, artists and trades prioritizes local, regional and USA made products vetted with sustainability, wellness, beauty and craftsmanship in mind.
We incorporate meaningful details that matter every day! Explore fine art, floor coverings, vintage and antique items, custom furnishings and window treatments - plus luxury bedding and hospitality details that elevate your day-to-day. Let’s bring soul and magic back into your home!
Step 4: Construction and Procurement
Finally, the project begins!
During new builds and renovations, we collaborate with your build team and provide a project binder for reference and notes on-site.
We order and manage all product installation and collaborate with our trade and vendor network to procure furniture, fixtures and finishes.
Finally, Installation Day! All furnishings are delivered together after construction is completed. We install artwork, florals, design details and style your space - ensuring that we have expertly tailored it down to the last detail.
We resolve any punch list items and provide a care and maintenance guide for you to reference.
Step 5:
Installation
We coordinate and oversee every last detail, working with our white-glove delivery service and team to ensure an exciting, turnkey reveal!
Your space will be expertly curated, from furniture placement aligned with the feng shui bagua map, to a beautifully layered lighting plan, and the balancing of the 5 elements and masculine and feminine energies.
Any photography and video footage is typically captured within 1-2 days of your final installation.
We provide you with a Care and Maintenance Guide, and create a punch list of any issues to be resolved in a timely manner.
